Record video without leaving Photo mode

Hold the shutter to start a video instantly.

Sometimes the best moment happens too fast to switch camera modes. QuickTake lets you start filming from Photo mode straight away, so you catch it before it's gone.

  1. Open the Camera app in Photo mode.
  2. Press and hold the shutter button to record.
  3. Slide right to lock recording, then tap the white shutter to take photos while filming.
Tip: Slide the shutter left to take burst photos instead.

Click, hold, and you're a director! Hollywood is calling. Please pick up, they sound excited. 🎬😂
