Review Location Services
Many apps ask for your location when they do not need it.
Many apps ask for your location once and then keep using it. Reviewing the list lets you choose which apps really need to know where you are, like maps and delivery apps, and which ones are just being nosy.
- Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
- Tap each app in the list.
- Choose Never, Ask Next Time, or While Using the App.
- Turn Precise Location off for apps that do not need it.
Tip: A purple arrow next to an app means it recently used your location.
Look at you, a privacy pro! Your weather app only needs to know it's sunny, not where you had lunch. 😄📍
