Offload unused apps

Removes the app but keeps your data so you can reinstall later.

Offloading deletes the app itself to free space but keeps your documents and data. When you reinstall it later, everything is exactly where you left it, so you do not lose your progress.

  1. Open Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
  2. Review the app list sorted by size.
  3. Tap an app you rarely use, then Offload App.
Tip: Turn on Offload Unused Apps at the top of this screen to do it automatically.

Space created, nothing lost. It's like moving the couch into storage instead of throwing it away. 🛋️😆
