iPhone 16 Pro Max vs Galaxy S25 Ultra in 2026
Last year's top phones are cheaper now. Which is the better buy?

Both phones have big 6.9-inch screens and were top of the range when they launched. With newer models out, they are now the smart-value flagships.
iPhone 16 Pro Max: AppleInsider called it the best iPhone yet after two months of use, and its one-year review of the 16 Pro says the line still holds up well. Choose it for video, simple software and strong resale value.
Galaxy S25 Ultra: you get the S Pen, a strong zoom camera system and Galaxy AI features. GSMArena says Samsung's long software support will keep the S25 Ultra relevant for years.
If you buy second-hand, check the battery health, make sure the phone is not locked or blacklisted, and buy from someone you trust.
