Make your Android feel faster

Shorter animations make the phone feel snappier.

When you open apps or switch screens, Android plays small animations. They look nice, but you wait a moment each time. Shortening them does not make the processor faster, but everything feels quicker because you wait less.

1. Open Settings > About phone and tap Build number 7 times.
2. Go back to Settings > System > Developer options.
3. Find Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale.
4. Set each one to 0.5x.
