Back Tap shortcuts

Tap the back of your iPhone to screenshot, open the torch and more.

Back Tap uses your iPhone's motion sensors to notice when you tap the back of the phone. You choose what a double or triple tap does, so your favourite action is always one tap away.

Open Settings > Accessibility > Touch.
Scroll down and tap Back Tap.
Choose Double Tap or Triple Tap.
Pick an action like Screenshot or Flashlight.

Tip: Works on iPhone 8 and newer. A thick case can make it miss taps.

Your phone now has a secret handshake. Tap tap, screenshot! Just don't blame us if it screenshots something while you nervously tap the back during a boring meeting. 😅
