How to get cheaper mobile data
Simple ways to stop your bundle disappearing.

Prices change often, so compare the cost per GB, not the headline number. Check each network's app or USSD menu, because they often show personalised deals you will not see on the website.
Look for night bundles, WhatsApp and social bundles, and promotions on Vodacom, MTN, Telkom and Cell C. Check expiry dates so you do not lose data you paid for, and switch off auto-buy to avoid out-of-bundle rates.
If you use more than a few GB a day, a fibre line or an LTE/5G home package usually works out cheaper than mobile data. Turn on Data Saver (see our hacks) to make any bundle last longer.
